The man who was busted for stealing more than a thousand photos of women’s private parts posted them online and posted a warning on Facebook that “the public has a right to know what you do.”
Michael Vardaglia, 27, was arrested on Wednesday on charges of distributing child pornography, possession of child pornography and unlawful use of a minor for commercial purposes.
The New York Post reports he was arrested in New York City and charged with three counts of criminal possession of a child by a minor.
The Post says police say he allegedly sent the photos to several women and posted their nude images on the website Viber.
He also allegedly used a credit card to pay for a computer, but the credit card was never used, according to the Post.
Police say Vardags photos of young female victims were shared thousands of times on the online chat site.
Police say he was caught on surveillance video sending the photos of the female victims to two other women.
The woman who sent the photo to the Daily News was also arrested and charged, but she says she only knew Vardagglia from one date.
She told the newspaper that Vardaghia told her that he was dating someone and that he wanted to see her naked, so she agreed to meet him in person.
