First, the interior is designed with premium materials, including a carbon fiber roof and a leather interior that feels more luxurious than the competition.
The only things you’ll find are a few buttons on the center console that enable you to change the audio system, as well as a heated steering wheel.
And the center stack has an airbag, as opposed to the more common inflatable seats.
Tesla sells the Model S in two models, the Model X and Model 3, and both are powered by the same 5.2-liter V8 that’s the same as the 5.5-liter version found in the Model A. The Model S has been in production since 2014 and has been on sale in the United States for nearly three years.
But what if you could just buy the Model 3 without the premium interior and the carbon fiber?
Well, that’s a possibility in the coming months, as Tesla is set to launch the Model 4 sedan, which has the same V8 as the Model 1.
The Model 4 is a crossover SUV, and it’s expected to have a range of around 320 miles on a single charge.
Tesla says the Model IV will be available in the first quarter of 2021, but it’s not yet clear when that will be.
The car has been rumored to launch in 2019, and if it does, it’ll have a more powerful, 6.0-liter twin-turbo V8.
